Two teams, one screen, 190+ categories. Question after question, and the shouting never stops.
Lamma (لمّة, also written لمة) is an Arabic trivia and challenge game made for family nights, majlis gatherings, trips and anywhere friends get together. Two teams compete on one shared screen: a phone mirrored to the TV, an iPad or a laptop. Each team picks its own categories, every question is worth more the harder it is, and mini games break in between questions. At the end the winners are crowned, and the losing team spins the punishment wheel. The game is played in Arabic.
Three steps and the night begins.
Open Lamma on your phone and mirror it to the TV, or play on an iPad or in a laptop browser.
Name the teams, flip the coin, and let each team choose the categories it knows best.
Easy is worth 100, medium 300 and hard 500. The harder you go, the more you score, and the team with the most points wins.
Guess pictures and sounds: listen to the clip and name the animal, or study two pictures and spot the difference before the other team does.
Quick challenges for both teams appear between questions: act out the word before time runs out, get closest to the right number, or bid on what you know.
Losing never passes quietly. The night ends with a champion, and the losing team spins the punishment wheel and does the dare in front of everyone.
